Changelog
What's new in Prysm Note. We ship continuously - here are the recent releases.
v1.62.12026-10-25
One theme importer
- Theme import and export now live in one place in Settings and in the theme menu, instead of two dialogs that did almost the same thing.
- Themes you exported from the older dialog still import, so nothing you saved needs converting by hand.
v1.62.02026-10-25
Zoom in, on every view
- Timeline, Calendar and Board each zoom on their own scale now, and each view remembers the level you picked. The timeline goes from a whole year at a glance down to a single day.
- The task views are built for a phone: readable task names on the timeline, a grouped view menu that fits the screen, and a new task sheet you can fill in with one thumb.
- Dragging a task on a touch screen now follows your finger exactly instead of jumping the timeline to a random date.
- The not found page is fixed: a wrong address shows the branded page, and the browser tab no longer repeats the site name.
v1.61.02026-10-25
Make every token yours
- Appearance settings now include Import theme tokens: drop in a small JSON file to set any color, radius, shadow or motion value in the app.
- Export the theme you are using now to edit it, share it, or move it to another device, with an example file to start from.
- Importing a theme is free on every plan, and switching back to a built-in theme removes the imported values cleanly.
v1.60.62026-10-20
Reminders that fire on time
- Email and device reminders now fire at the exact time you picked, even after a long history of past reminders has built up.
- In the desktop app, reminders now show both as a real Prysm Note notification and as the in-app card, so a reminder is not missed when the operating system holds notifications back.
v1.60.52026-10-24
Connecting an AI app, in one go
- Connecting an AI app now finishes: the approval page shows the account email and plan you are authorizing, what the app can access, and one Allow access button, and the app receives its access token right away.
- Signing in, including with Google or GitHub, returns you to the exact connection request instead of dropping you on the home page.
- Settings, AI Connect and the setup docs lead with copy-paste configs for Claude Code, opencode, VS Code, Cursor, Claude Desktop and Kilo that need no token. If a terminal app gives up waiting before you approve, the page now explains the next step.
v1.60.42026-10-20
Connect buttons that connect
- The Approve and Deny buttons on the page where an AI app asks to connect to your Prysm Note account now work in production instead of doing nothing.
- Connecting an AI app is also shown correctly for anyone whose plan is still active.
v1.60.32026-10-19
Editable images, honest AI
- Paste or drop an image into a subtask title, description, or the add-subtask field. Images stay visible while you edit, and each preview has a remove button.
- Clicking an image in a description or subtask opens the editor, while a small copy button on the image still lets you copy it. The formatting toolbar also stops disappearing when you select text.
- The AI now moves tasks to a named list reliably and reports a failed update instead of claiming it worked.
- Clearing a reminder now actually removes it instead of keeping the old time.
v1.60.22026-10-19
Today means today
- The timeline today line now moves to the real current day when the app stays open past midnight, instead of staying on the day it was opened.
- Paste an image into a task description or subtask with Cmd/Ctrl+V, including an image copied from another page, without opening the editor first.
- Subtask formatting is cleaner: the title formatter keeps single-line styles and images stay in the description where they belong.
v1.60.12026-10-18
Honest AI list moves
- The AI can move a task to a list when you name the list, and it now tells you when that fails instead of saying it worked.
v1.60.02026-10-18
Reminders that land when you choose
- Open any task and set a reminder for a specific date and time, instead of only the daily reminder sweep.
- Choose how it reaches you: an in-app card, a browser or desktop notification, an Android or iOS device notification, an email, or any combination.
- Change or clear the reminder at any time; finishing or cancelling the task stops it automatically, and device reminders still fire when the app is closed.
- Email reminders turn on for you when you pick the Email channel, and the AI can set reminders from chat too.
v1.59.12026-10-17
Calmer calendar, working board
- Calendar days are cleaner: double-click or double-tap a day to create a task, with no stray plus button in the corner.
- List rows now have one checkbox, so completing a task no longer looks like a second selection control.
- Board cards drag and reorder again, including cards in Unsorted, and adding a board section works.
v1.59.02026-10-17
Calendar that moves, Slack that fits
- Calendar tasks can be dragged to another day, including several at once. Busy days expand ten more tasks at a time instead of stopping at three.
- Timeline dates stay readable above task bars, and dragging tasks is smoother when the view scrolls under the pointer.
- The email summaries panel can be resized like the other panels, and its close button now works reliably.
- Slack team actions expand to show members, a test message button and a longer activity list. The GitHub weekly digest can now be sent straight to the Slack channel you pick.
v1.58.02026-10-17
Clearer chrome, richer tasks
- Sidebars and Settings text now stand apart from the canvas in every theme, with a separate chrome surface and brighter helper text.
- The Idea Engine card in Settings has clearer Work in progress wording now that its entry points are paused.
- Task descriptions and subtasks accept images through the new image button, or by pasting and dropping a PNG, JPEG, GIF or WebP file up to 5 MB.
- Links insert with the existing link button and now open in a new tab, and uploaded images stay private to your account.
v1.57.02026-10-17
Room to work, pins that stay put
- The left sidebar, the AI panel and the task detail panel can now be dragged wider or narrower. Widths are remembered separately on web, Mac and Windows, and each task keeps its own detail panel width.
- Floating notes have a working pin again: pinned notes stay above unpinned ones and remember their state on this device.
- The Idea Engine is paused: the Process idea button and GitHub setup are hidden, and Settings shows it as Work in progress.
- AI task updates are more reliable: completing, editing or deleting by task name now works, and read-only search answers are no longer replaced by a failure message.
v1.56.172026-10-17
Colourful tasks and cleaner lists
- Timeline tasks are colourful again: high, medium and low priority each get a clear fill so a busy week reads at a glance instead of a wall of grey.
- Text is brighter in every theme, so task titles, counts and labels no longer fade into the background.
- The Lists header has one add button instead of two; sections can still be added from the timeline toolbar.
v1.56.162026-10-17
A dark rail for bright themes
- New Dusk theme pairs a dark sidebar with a light workspace, for a split light and dark look.
- The sidebar now carries its own colours, so a theme can style the rail separately from the canvas.
- Everything else stays as it was: Dusk is one more preset in Settings, and the default plum dark theme is unchanged.
v1.56.152026-10-17
One focus ring, no double borders
- Focused fields such as the Task Title box now show a single accent border with a soft glow instead of a second ring floating around them.
- Inputs, textareas and buttons all take focus styling from the same system, so keyboard focus looks the same everywhere.
- Task Title and Description fields now share the same rounded corners.
v1.56.142026-10-17
A plum base, softer tasks and more themes
- Prysm Note now opens in a deep plum dark theme. Every theme moved to Settings, so the sidebar and the marketing site stay clean.
- Task bars sit quieter against the timeline, so a week of high priority work no longer reads as a wall of color.
- Added Paper, Parchment and Fog light themes, and retuned the existing presets so each accent matches its surface.
- Sidebar counts and header actions are easier to read, and today`s date is the same size as the rest of the week.
v1.56.132026-10-17
A calmer, more consistent interface
- The whole app now uses one warm, low-glare color system with a single amber accent, so actions, selection and focus states look the same everywhere.
- Typography switched to IBM Plex Sans and IBM Plex Mono, with aligned numbers for dates, counts and times.
- Buttons, inputs, cards and menus share one corner radius and spacing scale instead of mixing pills and rounded boxes.
- Timeline bars are now quiet surfaces with a thin priority edge, which makes a busy week easier to scan.
v1.56.122026-10-14
Repeats, list defaults and the current day behave as expected
- Telling the AI a single date (for example "gp app monday") no longer turns the task into a repeat: it stays a one-off unless you say every, each or weekly.
- Repeating tasks created earlier now show up on the timeline, calendar, list and board; each repeat also picks up the task's list, board section and tags.
- Tasks created by the AI go to your main list by default. The AI only puts a task in a list when you name one (for example "add it to my mobile app list").
- The timeline rolls over to the new day on its own, so today's date is correct without a refresh.
v1.56.112026-10-13
Repeating tasks show up as their own tasks
- When you tell the AI (or use the date picker) to repeat a task, each repeat now appears as its own task on the timeline, calendar, list and board on its date, instead of hiding inside the task as subtasks.
- Repeats copy the task's list, board section, tags and time, and fill in about three months ahead as you scroll.
- You can stop a repeat any time: open the task and use Stop repeating, which keeps the repeats already created and clears the upcoming ones.
v1.56.102026-10-12
AI Connect sign-in completes for opencode and other MCP apps
- Follow-up to the browser sign-in fix: Prysm Note now publishes its sign-in details where AI apps look for them, so opencode, VS Code, Cursor and Claude finish connecting instead of stopping at an error.
- Personal access tokens still work exactly as before.
v1.56.92026-10-12
One-click AI Connect sign-in works again
- Connecting an AI app to Prysm Note with the browser sign-in works again. Some apps (opencode, VS Code, Cursor, Claude and other MCP clients) register themselves before signing in, and that step was being rejected, so the connection always failed.
- The one-click sign-in is now easier than copying a personal access token, though the token option still works exactly as before.
v1.56.82026-10-11
A phone toolbar that lines up like the desktop one
- On a phone the New task, AI and More buttons now sit at the right edge of the timeline toolbar, matching the desktop layout, instead of drifting toward the middle of the row.
v1.56.72026-10-11
GitHub linking works again, and finished subtasks tuck away
- Fixed a crash when opening the GitHub panel on a task: the repository and issue lists load correctly now, so it no longer shows the Something went wrong screen.
- A problem inside the GitHub panel is contained: if it ever fails again it shows a short message in place instead of blanking the whole app.
- Completed subtasks are hidden by default, so open ones stay in view; a Show completed toggle brings the finished ones back at the bottom.
v1.56.62026-10-11
A share indicator, and a phone toolbar that fits
- The share button in a task now shows a small dot when the task is shared, and the share menu loads your teams and current shares as soon as you open a task.
- On a phone the timeline toolbar fits without scrolling: the period arrows now live in the More menu (tap More, then use previous, Today and next), so New task, AI and More are always in view.
v1.56.52026-10-11
Share a task with your team, and a tidier task panel
- Share a task with your team: the share button in a task now lists your teams and every member, so you can share with the whole team or with specific people, and it shows what a task is already shared with.
- Dropping a task onto another task now always moves it: it lands on the day under your finger, even when you drop it on a task that spans many days.
- The task panel is tidier: GitHub is collapsed behind a GitHub row you tap to open, the duplicated three-dot menu at the bottom is gone, and the sections flow without a big empty gap.
- Formatting is more reliable: bold, italic, headings, lists, quotes and code now handle awkward cases like text that is already bold, mixed selections, and code typed mid-line.
- On a phone the timeline toolbar keeps New task and AI in view without scrolling.
v1.56.42026-10-10
AI Connect tokens work reliably
- Fixed AI Connect (MCP): a personal access token created in Settings could be rejected as invalid, which blocked connecting external AI apps such as opencode, VS Code, Cursor and Claude.
- Tokens now authenticate on the first try, so your AI app can list, read, create, complete and update your tasks, watchlist and habits.
v1.56.32026-10-10
Prysm AI that never leaves you waiting
- Prysm AI now tells you when it is thinking and lets you take over: a live status shows what it is doing, and an Answer now button skips the remaining background work to write the reply right away.
- Stop is always within reach while a reply is in progress, and if a response stalls Prysm AI steps in on its own instead of leaving you waiting.
- A long-running request can no longer lock you out: a turn that hangs is cleaned up automatically, so your next message always goes through.
v1.56.22026-10-10
Drop a task onto another, and tidy subtasks
- Dropping a task onto another task now moves it: release it over a task and it lands on that task's day, instead of staying put or landing a day off near the edge of the timeline.
- Subtasks stay sorted: completed subtasks sink to the bottom and open ones rise to the top, and their order and contents sync across your devices.
v1.56.12026-10-10
Grabbing a task's edge resizes it, every time
- Fixed resizing a task from its left edge: it used to move the task instead (a task on the 10th stretched to the 9th would jump to the 8th to 9th). Grabbing either edge now always resizes, and it snaps to whole days and saves to your account.
- The resize handles on a task are always grabbable now, on both desktop and touch, and stay faintly visible on a phone so they are easy to find.
v1.56.02026-10-09
A font size that fits the whole app, and calmer weekends
- The Font Size slider now scales the whole app, not just a few spots: task titles on the timeline, in lists, on the kanban board, on cards and in the task detail all grow and shrink with it, alongside the chat and descriptions it already changed.
- Weekends are easier to read at a glance: Saturday and Sunday day headers are dimmed to match the weekend shading in the timeline.
- On a phone, tapping a task near its edge moves it now. The resize handles only appear and grab after you long-press a task, so a stray tap no longer resizes by accident.
v1.55.02026-10-09
A steadier task resize, and a font size of your own
- Resizing a task on your phone is steady now: a one-day drag changes the task by exactly one day, instead of the canvas sliding under your finger and making it jump two.
- New Font Size slider in Settings, Appearance (75% to 175%): enlarge or shrink text on its own without touching the timeline, remembered per device.
- The Interface Size slider now goes down to 75%, so you can fit even more of the timeline on a small screen.
v1.54.02026-10-09
Resize a task by its edges, and fit the app to your screen
- Resizing is now reliable: drag either end of a task and it snaps cleanly to whole days, with the new dates saved to your account and synced across your devices.
- On your phone, long-press a task to reveal a handle on each end, then drag a handle to make the task span more or fewer days. This direct gesture replaces the old Stretch option.
- New Interface Size slider in Settings, Appearance (80% to 130%): scale the timeline and text to fit your screen, remembered per device so a phone can stay compact while a desktop stays roomy.
v1.53.02026-10-09
Grab and stretch tasks exactly where you point
- Fixed dragging on long tasks: grabbing a wide bar at its very start now picks it up right under your cursor instead of feeling like it grabbed the middle.
- Resizing a task on the desktop timeline now snaps to whole days, so the bar lands on a column while you drag instead of sliding between dates.
- On your phone, long-press a task and tap Stretch to make it span more or fewer days with simple one-day steps.
v1.52.02026-10-09
AI on the free plan, and a more refined timeline
- Free accounts now keep AI with their own API key: bring your own OpenAI, Gemini, DeepSeek or OpenRouter key and the assistant keeps working without a subscription. Hosted PrysmAI stays part of paid plans and the 14-day free trial.
- On a free plan the chat shows a light, dismissible prompt to try hosted PrysmAI, without blocking your own key.
- More timeline polish on phone and desktop: a recessed canvas background, cleaner task bars and a highlighted today.
v1.51.02026-10-09
Set timers by voice, and a sharper timeline
- Ask the assistant for a timer and get one: "set a timer for 8 minutes" now creates a countdown card counting down from now, and "remind me in 20 minutes" works the same way.
- On desktop, double-clicking a day on the timeline opens the create-task form with that day and lane already filled in, just like a double-tap on your phone.
- The mobile timeline is tighter and easier to read, with smaller text that scales across phone sizes, slimmer day headers and clearer day separators.
v1.50.52026-10-07
The timeline drags and resizes exactly where you grab
- Dragging a task on the timeline now picks it up where your pointer actually is, so a task that spans several days no longer jumps a few days the moment you grab it.
- Resizing a task from either edge now changes the dates you expect, and a task can no longer shrink to less than a single day.
- Changing dates, or moving a task between sections, now syncs to your other devices right away.
v1.50.42026-10-06
Deletions now sync across your devices
- When you delete a task on one device, it now disappears on your other devices and open tabs within a moment, instead of lingering until a manual reload.
- Restoring a task syncs across your devices the same way.
v1.50.32026-10-06
Tasks you delete actually disappear
- If you deleted a task on another device, in the assistant, or earlier in the same session, it no longer gets stuck in your timeline and can be cleared for good.
- Deleting a task that is already gone now just removes it instead of erroring, so a single click always cleans it up.
v1.50.22026-10-05
Coming back to an idle tab just works again
- If you leave Prysm Note open in a tab and come back later, tasks and edits save again instead of silently failing.
- The app quietly renews your sign-in when your session has aged out, so you are not bounced to the login screen and nothing feels frozen.
- This applies everywhere: web, desktop, and mobile.
v1.50.12026-10-05
Syncing, Slack, and your plan feel solid again
- Google Calendar sync now runs in the background with a live progress count, so it no longer looks like it hung or failed when there are many tasks.
- The Team actions panel is back in Settings, with a channel picker and one-click standup, due today, and completed today digests.
- Sending a team digest to Slack now works with a bot connection too, and shows the real reason if something goes wrong.
- The Integrations page opens straight to your content instead of briefly showing the upgrade prompt while your plan loads.
v1.50.02026-10-05
Finance grows up, and the timeline feels smoother
- Track money owed to you and upcoming income, add a note to any entry, mark something received in one tap, and let the assistant create a task to chase a payment or a recurring repayment for you.
- On the Team plan, the Finance workspace now has a Team side: a shared ledger with departments, where every change records who made it.
- The assistant can organize any list or everything at once, and it reports the real numbers instead of guessing.
- New default list: pick All Tasks, or right-click any list and set it as your default, while the app still returns you to wherever you left off.
- Timeline sections have more breathing room, and dragging or resizing a task now previews its dates and glides into place.
v1.49.62026-10-04
Your plan stops flickering, and connections stay put
- Your Premium status no longer drops to the free view when the server is briefly busy or rate-limited, so the Integrations page stays unlocked.
- Slack appears only when it is actually available on your server, instead of showing a Connect button that fails.
- The app makes fewer background requests, so you are far less likely to see a temporary "Too many requests".
v1.49.52026-10-04
GitHub and other connections save again
- Fixed a database error that could stop GitHub, Slack, or email from finishing a connection on some deployments.
- Reconnecting an integration now saves your credentials reliably instead of failing partway through.
v1.49.42026-10-04
GitHub sign-in returns you to Settings, and the install prompt stops nagging
- Connecting GitHub (and Slack) now returns you to the Settings, Integrations page after you approve access, instead of dropping you back on your timeline.
- The install prompt now asks only once; after you have seen or dismissed it, it stays out of your way.
- You can still open the install guide any time from the Get the app page.
v1.49.32026-10-04
Connect your Premium integrations reliably
- Fixed a problem where Slack and other Premium integrations could report that you are not on a paid plan even while your plan was active, which blocked connecting them.
- Connecting an integration now behaves the same whether you are on the web, the desktop app, or mobile.
v1.49.22026-10-04
Connect integrations from the mobile app
- Connecting GitHub, Slack, Google, or Outlook in the mobile app now opens the provider in your browser and returns you to Settings when it finishes.
- If you are signed out when a connection opens in your browser, you are asked to sign in first and then taken straight back to finish connecting.
- Existing GitHub links on a task now stay visible even when the connection check is temporarily unavailable.
v1.49.12026-10-04
Connect integrations from the desktop app again
- Connecting GitHub, Slack, Google, or Outlook in the desktop app now opens the provider in your browser and brings you back to the app when it finishes, instead of leaving you on the same screen.
- Reconnecting an integration in the desktop app no longer silently fails.
- If moving several tasks on the timeline fails, the message now explains the real reason so you know what to fix.
v1.49.02026-10-03
Change your plan without double-paying
- You can now upgrade, downgrade, or switch your plan right from Settings, Premium. Upgrades apply immediately and you are only charged the prorated difference.
- Downgrades are scheduled for the end of the period you already paid for, so you never lose time you have paid for.
- Cancelling keeps your plan active until the end of the period, and you can resume at any time. Manage your payment method and invoices through a secure billing portal.
- Your current plan is clearly marked, buttons now say Upgrade or Downgrade, and you can choose monthly or annual billing.
v1.48.62026-10-03
Your plan is recognized the moment you sign in
- Premium and Team plans are now recognized right after you sign in, without needing a page reload.
- The free-trial offer no longer appears when you are already on a paid plan.
- Your plan also refreshes when you return to the tab, so it stays in sync with your subscription.
v1.48.52026-10-03
Desktop passkeys ask for Touch ID, and widgets open every time
- Adding a passkey in the desktop app now shows your system sign-in prompt (Touch ID on macOS) so setup actually finishes instead of waiting forever.
- If your device cannot show a passkey prompt, the setup now stops with a clear message instead of hanging.
- Open Widgets now opens the widget panel inside the app on desktop and in apps that block pop-ups, so it always shows something.
v1.48.42026-10-03
Today means today everywhere, and desktop passkey setup finishes in one step
- Due-today counts, the widget calendar and the habit tracker now use your local date, so they no longer show yesterday (or tomorrow) depending on your time zone.
- Today, Tomorrow and +7 Days in the date and repeat picker now match your local day.
- Adding a passkey from the desktop app now opens the Add passkey dialog directly when your browser returns, so the setup actually completes.
v1.48.32026-10-03
Your prices, widgets, and passkeys now match where you are and what you use
- Prices are now shown in the currency that matches your location, using your time zone, so a browser set to English (UK) no longer forces British pounds when you are elsewhere.
- The Open Widgets button now always opens the widget window, including in the desktop app where it used to do nothing.
- Adding a passkey in the desktop app now opens your system sign-in prompt instead of silently failing, and the list refreshes when you come back.
- Finance entries saved before the recent update are restored, so your earlier items show up again alongside newer ones.
v1.48.22026-10-03
Your plan, passkeys, and widgets now behave after sign-in
- Premium and Team are recognized reliably again after a session refresh, so the free-trial offer no longer reappears and the Collaborate tab stays visible on a Team plan.
- Passkeys work again: adding one from Settings no longer errors, and signing in with a saved passkey succeeds.
- Desktop and mobile widgets now show your real active tasks, due-today count, today's list and habit progress, instead of staying empty.
- Integration connection status stays accurate after you connect an account, without needing to press Connect again.
v1.48.12026-10-02
Fewer settings tabs, and an assistant that starts right away
- Settings is trimmed to seven clear tabs. Smart List lives under Features, Notifications, Date & Time and Appearance share one tab, and AI Connect, Finance, Collaborate and AI Keys sit together under Integrations.
- The assistant now starts replying almost immediately for everyday questions, instead of waiting through an extra step before any text appears.
v1.48.02026-10-02
A quicker assistant, replies that keep what they already wrote, and tidier settings
- The assistant on the hosted plan answers faster, using a quicker low-latency model with a lighter fallback when it is busy.
- Stop the assistant part-way and it now keeps the text it already wrote, marks it Stopped, and saves the turn instead of losing it.
- Bullets, checklists, and nested lists render cleanly in the assistant and in your task descriptions.
- Settings are simpler: Features and UI Modules share one place, tabs are grouped more clearly, and every module has its own clear icon.
v1.47.02026-10-02
An assistant that really saves your tasks, and a roomier phone view
- The assistant now creates and edits tasks reliably, including everyday times like 2pm.
- The assistant no longer says it created or changed something when the action did not actually save.
- Tasks and events created by the assistant or by connected apps appear right away across your tabs and devices, without a manual refresh.
- The phone layout is roomier and easier to read, and updates show a refresh prompt instead of signing you out.
v1.46.02026-10-02
No more surprise sign-outs, and a smoother timeline
- A new app version now shows the update pill and waits for you to reload, instead of refreshing the screen on its own.
- A brief server restart during a release no longer signs you out: your session is kept and picks back up automatically.
- Moving tasks on the timeline is smoother, with a subtle lift while you drag and a gentle settle when a task lands.
- Dragging and selecting tasks on large boards does less repeated work, so the timeline stays responsive.
v1.45.12026-10-02
Notes stay deleted and clearer assistant errors
- Deleting a note from its floating window now keeps it deleted, instead of briefly disappearing from the sidebar and then reappearing.
- Deleting a note in one window or device no longer gets undone by a sync from another window that still had the old copy.
- When the hosted PrysmAI assistant is briefly unavailable, the message no longer asks you to re-enter an API key that you do not manage.
v1.45.02026-10-02
Smarter assistant and a tidier account lifecycle
- The priority you pick when creating a task is now saved (it used to be silently reset to the default).
- The assistant understands typos, shorthand and messy phrasing better, and asks a single short question only when a request is genuinely unclear.
- Accounts inactive for a year get a reminder email and are removed 30 days later if there is still no sign-in. You can delete your account at any time yourself, and a private audit record is kept so data requests can still be answered.
- Changes made on another device merge cleanly, with no duplicate tasks and an automatic catch-up after being offline.
v1.44.02026-10-01
A faster, steadier backend
- Rebuilt the app's backend for speed: large task lists and searches now respond several times faster.
- Loading and searching big accounts uses less memory and keeps response times steady under load.
- Nothing changes on your side: tasks, notes, habits, and every view work exactly as before.
v1.43.02026-09-30
Real-time sync and smoother updates
- Changes made on another device or tab now appear almost instantly over a live connection, instead of waiting for the next refresh.
- App updates no longer take the site offline for a minute: new versions roll out without interrupting what you are doing.
- The workspace opens faster on large accounts and background refreshes do less duplicate work.
- Lists, tags, and board sections load from a fast cache and the app makes fewer database round-trips, so large accounts feel snappier.
v1.42.112026-09-30
Notes stay in sync across devices
- Deleting a note on one device now removes it everywhere, instead of reappearing on your other device.
- Notes sync when you switch back to the app, so changes from your phone or another computer show up without a reload.
- If a note is deleted elsewhere, its floating window closes instead of staying on screen.
v1.42.102026-09-30
Floating notes come to Windows
- The Windows desktop app was several versions behind, so floating notes did not appear there. The Windows download is now up to date.
- The pin button on a floating note is clearer: it keeps the note on top of other windows (it does not lock the note in place), and its on or off state is now shown correctly.
v1.42.92026-09-30
Floating notes drag smoothly
- Dragging a floating note now moves it in one smooth motion instead of jumping a pixel at a time.
- The note opens where you left it and resizes from its bottom-right corner.
- The title sits under the top bar, so the whole bar is a grab handle.
v1.42.82026-09-30
Floating notes move and respond for real
- Dragging a floating note now actually moves the window on your desktop.
- The pin, minimize and close buttons on a floating note work again.
- Removed the small Native window label from the note.
v1.42.72026-09-30
Sticky notes are draggable and editable again
- A floating note can now be dragged by its whole title bar and resized from any corner.
- Typing, colors and the pin, minimize and close controls all respond right away.
- The plus button in the sidebar Notes section creates a fresh note.
v1.42.62026-09-30
Sticky note window shows the note
- The floating sticky note now fills its window instead of leaving an empty frame.
- The note keeps its position and size when you drag or resize it.
v1.42.52026-09-30
Notes open as a proper sticky note
- Creating a note now opens a real, filled-in sticky note instead of a blank window.
- The Notes section in the sidebar is now a collapsible dropdown, not a long list of every note.
- Sticky notes are turned off on phones (iOS and Android), where the feature did not work well.
v1.42.42026-09-30
Notes open as a single sticky note
- Pressing Notes or the plus button now opens one small floating sticky note instead of a notes board or dashboard.
- On the desktop app the note opens as an always-on-top sticky window; in the browser it opens in its own little window.
- Clicking a note in the sidebar opens that note directly.
v1.42.32026-09-30
Mobile notifications and a tidier phone layout
- System reminders now show up on Android Chrome and Brave, and on iPhone or iPad once Prysm Note is added to the Home Screen.
- The Notifications settings now explain what your browser can actually do instead of showing a button that cannot work.
- Reminder cards and toasts no longer cover the bottom navigation on phones.
- More of the small controls across notes, the message box and the tab bar are easy to tap, and the AI panel gets a tap-outside backdrop.
v1.42.22026-09-30
Sticky notes open and close again
- Opening your sticky notes from the desktop app now shows the notes board instead of doing nothing.
- A popped-out sticky note now responds to its own pin, minimize and close controls, and keeps its position and size in sync.
- The notes board can now send a note to a floating always-on-top sticky window.
v1.42.12026-09-29
Google connect fixes
- Connecting Google is more reliable: if Google returns a slightly different set of permissions than requested, the connection still succeeds instead of stopping with an error.
- If Google does refuse the connection, Prysm Note now tells you the real reason instead of showing a generic failure.
v1.42.02026-09-29
One Google connect for Gmail and Calendar, and real notifications
- Gmail and Google Calendar are now a single Google connection: one Connect screen approves both, and the row opens two sections, one for Gmail and one for Calendar.
- New mail can be summarized by AI and collected behind a notification bell at the top of the app, with a badge and a quick dismiss.
- Reminders are simpler: one system notifications switch, delivered as your computer's notifications in the browser and as real Prysm Note notifications in the desktop app, with the in-app card as a fallback.
- Connecting Gmail now shows the exact reason Google gives when access fails, instead of a plain HTTP error.
v1.41.02026-09-29
GitHub and Slack move into the sidebar
- Slack and GitHub now have their own tabs in the sidebar: post a standup, pick a channel, search your repositories, review a pull request or triage issues without leaving your list.
- GitHub search now stays inside your own repositories and the organisations you belong to, instead of searching all of GitHub.
- Settings, Integrations is only for connecting and disconnecting now. The everyday actions moved to the sidebar, and the GitHub panel there is a set of collapsible sections with short explanations.
- The UI Modules tab now shows a small picture of each area plus a line telling you what appears when it is on and what disappears when it is off.
v1.40.32026-09-29
Sign in works again after an old session
- Fixed a case where an old or invalid session cookie kept sending the sign in page back to the home page, locking you out.
- The sign in page now clears that dead cookie so you can sign in again.
v1.40.22026-09-29
Desktop app responds again on the landing page
- Fixed the desktop app freezing on the public landing page, where scrolling and clicking stopped working.
- The desktop window chrome is now only applied to the signed-in workspace, never to the marketing or sign-in pages.
v1.40.12026-09-29
Fresh loads and a smoother desktop app
- Pages and data now load fresh from the server instead of possibly showing an older cached copy after an update.
- The desktop app no longer gets stuck on an old cached version after the site updates.
- Fixed a case where an unrecognized saved filter value could leave a view showing nothing.
v1.40.02026-09-28
Smart lists work in every view
- The Today, Next 7 Days, All Tasks and Completed filters now work in Kanban, Calendar and List as well as the timeline, and the name shown in the toolbar always matches the filter you picked (All Tasks no longer reads as Next 7 Days).
- Next 7 Days now starts tomorrow, so it no longer double counts the tasks already shown under Today.
- Your last filter, list, tag and search are remembered, so the app opens where you left it.
- One clear button resets the filter, list, tag and search together, and long menus, dialogs, notifications and small touch buttons are easier to use on phones.
v1.39.12026-09-28
Cleaner GitHub panel feedback
- Triaging several issues at once now reports the correct counts, and the weekly digest lists each closed issue only once.
- Creating or linking a GitHub issue from a task now confirms success instead of showing an error, and switching the repository clears the previous issue list so Link always targets the repository you selected.
v1.39.02026-09-27
GitHub work you can do without the assistant
- Settings, then Integrations now has a GitHub panel with the same powers the assistant had: search issues and pull requests across your repositories, list a repository's pull requests and leave a review comment, triage several issues at once (add labels, close them, or reopen them), create a new private repository with an optional README, and read a weekly digest of what shipped in the last seven days.
- Open any task that is linked to GitHub to see a new Open draft PR form that creates a branch and a draft pull request from the task, and a Close linked item button that closes the issue with a completion comment.
v1.38.32026-09-27
Gmail and Outlook mail fetch retries on expired tokens
- When checking for new mail, a 401 (unauthorized) response now triggers an automatic token refresh and retries the fetch once, so a stale token no longer leaves you with a generic "fetch failed" error.
- Error messages now include the actual HTTP status code and response detail, making it easier to diagnose any remaining fetch issues.
v1.38.22026-09-27
GitHub stays connected
- The GitHub connection no longer drops after a few hours. The app renews it in the background, so you stay connected instead of pressing Connect again in Settings.
- If you connected GitHub before this update, reconnect once and it stays connected on its own from then on.
- When GitHub is not connected, a task now shows a short note with a link to Integrations instead of hiding the GitHub section without explanation.
v1.38.12026-09-27
The assistant posts to Slack and GitHub with your own API key too
- When you chat with your own OpenAI, Gemini, DeepSeek or OpenRouter key, an action request that came back as "I cannot do that" is now retried once with an explicit instruction to call the right tool, so "post a standup to #team" really posts.
- The retry is capped at one extra pass per message, so an ordinary question is never asked twice.
v1.38.02026-09-27
Standups that fit your team, and the assistant stops refusing
- Slack standups can cover just the lists, tags or statuses you pick, so a team stands up on its own section instead of the whole board. Choose the scope in the Team actions panel in Settings, Integrations, Slack, or name it to the assistant.
- The assistant no longer answers that it cannot post to Slack: standup, share and post requests now retry on the model that can run them.
- An optional Team actions block can sit in the sidebar, so you can post a standup or a due or completed summary without leaving your list (Settings, UI Modules, Team section).
v1.37.12026-09-27
Voice input works in the desktop app on macOS
- The macOS desktop app now asks for microphone permission and records audio correctly, so dictating into the assistant produces text instead of an empty result.
- Voice input in the desktop app uses the same server transcription as other browsers, so it works on Premium and during the trial.
v1.37.02026-09-27
Slack team actions live in Settings, and connecting returns to the desktop app
- The Slack row in Settings, Integrations now opens a Team actions panel: pick the channel, see your channels and members, and post a standup or a due/completed summary with one click. It also lists example prompts you can hand straight to the assistant.
- Connecting Slack, GitHub, Gmail, Outlook or Google Calendar from the desktop app now finishes in your browser and brings you back to the app automatically, instead of leaving you on a browser tab.
- The Slack install asks for the correct permissions, so connecting no longer stops with Invalid permissions requested.
v1.36.22026-09-27
Desktop updates now really install and restart
- On Windows, choosing Restart now in the desktop update prompt now relaunches the app after the installer finishes, instead of closing the app and leaving you to open it again.
- On macOS, a build that can update itself keeps the Restart now prompt, while a build that cannot is offered a Download button that opens the new version, instead of a restart that quietly did nothing.
v1.36.12026-09-27
The update prompt stops nagging, and Back no longer undoes an update
- On desktop and the browser, the update prompt now appears only when there is genuinely something new to load, instead of asking you to reload again on the next launch after you already updated.
- On Android and iOS, pressing Back after an update no longer drops you onto the older version you just left. Back now returns you to where you were inside the app.
v1.36.02026-09-26
Ask the AI to run your Slack and GitHub work
- Slack (Premium): ask the AI to post to any channel, create a channel and invite people, send a direct message to a teammate, post a standup or a daily digest of what is due and done, share a task into a thread and read the replies back, search your channels, react to a message, and show who is on the team. Reconnect Slack once from Settings, Integrations to grant the new permissions.
- GitHub (Premium): ask the AI to open a draft pull request from a task, list pull requests, leave a review comment, triage issues in bulk (label, close or reopen several at once), create a repository and seed its README, search issues and pull requests, summarise what shipped this week, and close the issue linked to a finished task.
- Fixes: Sync now and Import from calendar now show the result right under their buttons with a busy state while they run, so you can see the sync happened, including when there was nothing new to push.
v1.35.12026-09-26
Smoother timeline zoom and day-accurate task creation
- Zooming the timeline is steadier: one Ctrl (or Cmd) plus scroll gesture now changes the zoom a single step, and the day under your pointer stays where it is.
- A task you create from a day inside a section lands in that section, whether you double-click the day, use its plus button, or right-click it.
- Fixes: double-clicking a day and right-clicking a day now default the new task to the day you clicked, instead of the day before.
- Selecting several tasks with Ctrl (or Cmd) and dragging a box no longer leaves the canvas holding the pointer, so you can drag a selected task straight after.
v1.35.02026-09-24
Zoom the timeline, Gmail and Outlook summaries, and a cleaner header
- Zoom the timeline in and out with Ctrl (or Cmd) plus scroll, and hold Ctrl (or Cmd) and drag a box to select several tasks at once.
- The timeline header now stays on one row at every width. The view switcher, notifications and the other actions live in a single three-dot menu, and New task is a plus button.
- Connect Gmail or Outlook (Premium) and Prysm Note summarizes new mail with AI and shows it as an in-app notification, on the check cadence you pick. Your mail is never turned into a task automatically.
- Fixes: right-clicking a day now creates the task on that day, and double-clicking an empty day opens the new-task form reliably.
v1.34.02026-09-23
Send tasks to Slack, and rules that run on their own
- Right-click any task and choose Send to Slack to post it to your connected Slack channel straight away, with a link back to the task.
- Workflow rules (Premium) do it for you. A rule watches for a task being created or completed, optionally narrowed to a priority or status, and then posts to Slack or opens a GitHub issue in a repository you pick. Ask the AI to set one up, for example "when I complete a high priority task, post it to Slack". Rules run about once a minute, and you can keep up to 20 of them.
v1.33.12026-09-23
Google Calendar sync asks for the access it actually needs
- Google Calendar can now list and sync all of your calendars. Prysm Note was requesting a scope that covers events but not the calendar list itself, so the calendar picker came back empty and calendar-wide sync failed. It now asks for the calendar list scope as well.
- Because that permission is new, reconnect Google Calendar once from the integrations page to grant it. The page tells you when your saved connection is missing the permission, instead of quietly showing no calendars.
v1.33.02026-09-23
You control calendar sync, and disconnecting really disconnects
- Google Calendar sync is now yours to tune. Under the Google Calendar row in Settings you can choose how often Prysm Note checks the calendar on its own, from every 15 minutes to once a day, and tick exactly which calendars to import from. Your tasks are pushed to the first one, and only calendars you can write to are shown.
- Disconnecting GitHub, Google Calendar or Slack now also revokes Prysm Note's access with that provider. Before, the connection was only removed here, so connecting again silently reused the same account without asking. Now every fresh Connect shows the provider's approval screen, so you can switch accounts or workspaces.
- Sending a team activity digest to Slack now lets you pick which team when you belong to more than one, and says so clearly when you have no team yet.
- Calendar sync and import give you the real reason when something goes wrong (for example, a Google API that is not enabled, or a disconnected account) instead of a bare count, and they ask you to wait a few minutes if you press them too often. Browsing your GitHub repositories now lists them right in the integrations page.
v1.32.02026-09-23
Finance and AI Connect are now open source
- The self-hosted open source edition now includes the Finance workspace: income, one-off expenses, recurring bills and debts, with due dates, payments, paying something off in full, undoing a payment and a debts view. You can run it entirely on your own server, with no account and no subscription.
- The open source edition also ships AI Connect. Any MCP client (VS Code, Cursor, Claude, Kilo and more) can read and update your tasks, watchlist and habits using a personal access token you create and revoke yourself.
- On prysmnote.com the manual ledger and token creation are free; AI Connect needs an active subscription, and Premium layers on the finance extras: asking the AI about your money and running cash-flow projections.
- New comparison pages on the site cover Prysm Note against TickTick, Todoist and Notion, and there is a dedicated AI Connect setup guide, so it is easier to see how the open source route compares before you switch.
v1.31.42026-09-23
GitHub and Slack connections are remembered
- Connecting GitHub or Slack now sticks. The success message used to appear while the integration still showed a Connect button, because the saved credential was never read back. The integrations page now shows a Connected badge and the Actions menu as soon as the connection succeeds.
- If you already connected GitHub or Slack, you are already connected. Just open the integrations page and it will show up, with no need to go through the connect flow again.
v1.31.32026-09-23
Calendar import and sync actually work, and GitHub or Slack connect reliably
- Import from calendar now brings your events in. Every imported event was silently failing to save, so the button looked like it did nothing. It also looks back 30 days now, so events that already started today (and all day events) are included instead of skipped.
- Sync now sends your tasks to Google Calendar without hanging or timing out. It only sends tasks that are new or changed, and it tells you how many were sent and how many are still waiting.
- Connecting GitHub or Slack no longer sends you to the sign in screen and loses the approval. Any connection already in progress is remembered, so it finishes even if you have to sign in again.
- If a connection ever needs you to sign in, you are returned to the integrations page afterwards instead of the home screen.
v1.31.22026-09-23
Google Calendar connect works, and retrying no longer breaks it
- Connecting Google Calendar now finishes. Google rejected the last step of the approval with a missing security check, so the connection failed quietly and the row stayed on Connect.
- If you retry an integration connection several times in a row, the approval is no longer cut off by a traffic limit partway through, which used to consume the approval and make you start over.
v1.31.12026-09-22
Integrations connect reliably, and you can reconnect
- Connecting Google Calendar, GitHub or Slack now finishes after you approve access. The app used to land on the Account settings tab, so the connection looked unconnected even though access had been granted.
- A GitHub approval could be mistaken for a Google Calendar one on the way back, which made GitHub connect fail. The two are now told apart correctly.
- Every connected integration now offers Reconnect in its Actions menu, so you can refresh access without disconnecting first.
v1.31.02026-09-22
Connect GitHub, and do more from each integration
- GitHub is now a first-class integration: connect your account, then browse repositories and link tasks to issues and pull requests. The AI can create an issue from a task, link an existing issue or PR, and tell you what a task is linked to.
- Each connected integration now has an Actions menu, so the useful things are one click away: Google Calendar offers Sync now and Import from calendar, GitHub offers Browse repositories and Link task, and Slack offers Send test message and Send team activity digest.
- Connecting Google Calendar, GitHub or Slack is more reliable: the connection now appears in Settings right away after you approve access.
v1.30.02026-09-20
Much longer task descriptions, and character limits you can see
- A task description now fits far more text, so long notes, meeting minutes and research dumps save instead of being rejected.
- Whenever you approach a limit, a small counter appears under the field telling you how many characters you have left, and turns red with the exact number you are over when you pass it.
- Counters cover task names, descriptions, subtasks and tag names, in the task form, the task page, the subtask checklist and the tag fields. Saving is blocked only while a field is over its limit, so nothing is silently cut off.
v1.29.12026-09-20
More reliable sign-in and session refresh
- Signing in and staying signed in is more reliable: when several of your devices or tabs refreshed the session at the same moment, one of them could fail and leave you signed out. That race is fixed.
- Logging out, resetting a password, and the mobile sign-in exchange now handle repeated requests the same calm way, so a duplicate request never causes an error.
v1.29.02026-09-20
Guides for every kind of work, plus more questions answered
- A new Use cases section explains how Prysm Note fits different kinds of work, from professionals and developers to students, freelancers, teachers and designers.
- A new Comparisons section walks through how Prysm Note differs from familiar approaches like spreadsheets, paper planners, sticky notes, voice memos and generic to-do lists, honest about where each one is a good fit.
- A new Learn section answers common questions in plain language, such as what AI task management is, how voice-to-task works, and what zero data retention and BYOK mean.
- Every guide is written to be clear and fair, and each page ends with a short disclaimer so you always know what the pages are and are not.
v1.28.02026-09-20
Slack updates, a simpler pricing page, and three new themes
- Connect Slack from Settings and Prysm Note posts task and team updates to the channel you pick during install, with a test message to confirm it works.
- Team plans get a team activity feed, so you can see who joined, which invites are pending, and what was shared, and you can send that summary to Slack.
- Pricing is easier to read: your individual plans stay up front, with a monthly or annual switch and one button to see every other plan, plus answers to the common questions right on the page.
- A task now opens as one page with the description on top and the subtask checklist right below it, instead of two tabs.
- My Tasks can no longer be renamed or deleted, since it is where new tasks and tasks from a deleted list land.
- Three new color themes: Ocean Depth, Forest Canopy and Sunset Glow.
v1.27.22026-09-20
Refined timeline palette and a gap between side-by-side tasks
- Timeline task colors are now deeper and more understated, so the plan reads as a calm workspace rather than a set of bright blocks.
- Two tasks that sit side by side on the same day now have a small gap between them, so they are easy to tell apart.
v1.27.12026-09-20
Calmer timeline colors and clearer day columns
- Task colors on the timeline are deeper and calmer, so the plan no longer looks like a traffic light.
- Task bars now have a small gap between them instead of touching, which makes a busy day easier to read.
- Saturdays and Sundays get a slightly shaded column so weekends stand out from the weekdays.
v1.27.02026-09-20
Smarter AI, tag sorting, richer colors
- The assistant now understands the Inbox: it is every task with no date, and you can ask it to clear, list or review everything there in a single request.
- Scoped bulk deletes work in one step: ask it to delete everything in a list, on a date, or in the Inbox and it does the whole sweep instead of losing track.
- The board lost the horizontal/vertical switch that did nothing, and both the board and the quadrant view can now sort by tag.
- Colors are more vivid and less washed out, and timeline task bars are solid instead of see-through.
v1.26.02026-09-20
Real sync across devices, instant start, board filters
- Tasks, descriptions and subtasks now sync across your devices, and the in-app Refresh button pulls the latest changes instead of only the newest tasks.
- The app opens straight to your tasks from the last visit, so returning to it no longer shows a loading screen every time.
- The board no longer offers the redundant Stacked layout, and now has All, Active and Done filters.
- Creating a section now lives in one place instead of two different menus.
- The top bar wraps to fit any screen instead of scrolling sideways.
- Removed the harsh white borders in several views and tidied up the subtasks checklist.
v1.25.02026-09-20
Centered today, instant offline start, longer subtasks
- The timeline now centers today the moment you open it and whenever you press Today, on every screen size.
- The app opens with your tasks already on screen from the last visit, and static assets are cached so repeat visits and weak connections feel instant.
- Subtask text can be far longer now (up to 5000 characters); long subtasks are clamped to a few lines with an expand arrow.
- Editing a description shows the change immediately, no refresh or reopening the task needed.
- A quieter, flatter look throughout the app and on the marketing pages, with feature lists condensed behind a Show all button.
v1.24.12026-09-19
Changing your password signs out other devices
- Changing your password now signs out every other device and browser, while staying signed in where you made the change.
- Logging out now fully ends the session, including the short-lived access credential.
- Checkout problems now show an honest error instead of a confusing activation screen, and a repeated payment notice can no longer be recorded twice.
v1.24.02026-09-19
Lists remember their view, and sidebar list sections
- Every list now remembers the view you last used, so opening it again returns you to that view.
- Group lists into named sections in the sidebar, collapse or expand them, and drag lists between sections.
- Drag a section header to reorder sections; deleting a section keeps its lists.
v1.23.12026-09-19
TickTick imports now arrive complete
- Completed tasks from a TickTick backup import as done instead of being hidden away.
- Backup rows with no list now land in My Tasks instead of a random list.
- Large accounts now load every task, so sidebar and list counts match what you actually have.
v1.23.02026-09-19
Cleaner subtasks everywhere, plus a phone toolbar menu
- Subtasks no longer show up as their own rows on the timeline or calendar; open the parent task to see them.
- List, Kanban and Board views show a task's first two subtasks, with a control to reveal the rest.
- Renaming a timeline section now uses an in-app dialog instead of a browser prompt.
- Phones get a toolbar menu for refresh, new section and switching views, and the unused Inbox smart list is gone.
v1.22.82026-09-19
Editing tasks and finance items saves your changes
- Editing an existing task now saves its list, time estimate and timeline section instead of dropping those changes.
- Editing a finance item's kind (recurring or one time) now saves.
- The account appeal form on the blocked page no longer errors when no device reference is present.
v1.22.72026-09-19
Imports land in lists, tasks show up right away, steadier mobile drag
- A task you create now appears on the timeline immediately, without reloading the page.
- Importing a TickTick backup now creates a Prysm list for each TickTick Folder or List, so imported tasks stay grouped the way they were instead of turning into tags.
- Subtasks can be deleted, renamed and reordered from a task's subtask list again.
- Dragging a task on a phone is reliable now, including a hold then drag, and the phone toolbar keeps the view switcher and the New button in view.
v1.22.62026-09-19
Timeline auto-sort removed, refresh now automatic
- The Auto-sort button and its AI topic-sorting feature are removed from the timeline for now.
- Tasks and sections now refresh from the server automatically every 30 seconds while the app is open, so changes from another device appear without restarting.
v1.22.52026-09-19
Timeline drag reliability fix
- Fixed a scroll listener mismatch in the timeline drag engine that could cause the second consecutive drag on a task bar to fail to commit on mobile.
v1.22.42026-09-18
Timeline panning and touch task drag, made consistent
- Panning the timeline on Windows now starts on the very first pixel and stays smooth on large boards.
- Dragging a task on Windows picks up immediately and follows the cursor with no lag.
- Holding a task is now the one consistent way to pick it up and move it on any touch screen, on a phone or a tablet alike.
- A deliberate hold with no movement still opens the task actions.
v1.22.32026-09-18
Faster update checks, smoother task drags
- The update banner now checks for new versions every 30 seconds instead of 5 minutes, so a refresh prompt appears soon after a deploy.
- Dragging a task on Windows starts immediately without the brief delay before the pointer is released.
- On a phone, deliberately dragging a task even a small distance now moves it instead of snapping it back.
- Task bars on the timeline no longer trigger native browser drag on Windows.
v1.22.22026-09-18
Timeline task drags that stay under your finger
- Dragging a task near the edge of the timeline no longer scrolls the board out from under it: the task stays with your finger, and the board only auto-scrolls if you hold still at the edge.
- On a Windows touchscreen or a wide window, touching a task now picks it up right away instead of waiting for a long press.
- On a phone, a quick one-finger drag on a task still pans the timeline, and a long hold still opens the task menu.
v1.22.12026-09-18
Snappier timeline panning and touch task moves
- Panning the timeline now responds on the very first pixel you move on Windows and the web app, with no startup delay.
- On a phone or tablet, hold a task and drag it anywhere on the timeline: it moves without the delete/move menu popping up. A hold with no movement still opens the menu.
- Dragging a task on a busy board stays smooth, because the drop target is no longer recalculated on every frame.
v1.22.02026-09-18
Editable debts, a smarter Finance view, and smoother timeline panning
- Edit debts and loans right on the card: payment, total owed, remaining balance, interest, cadence and paid-off state, plus delete.
- Finance now shows a typical month (income, expenses, debt payments and your savings rate), the next due date on each bill, and how many payments each debt has left, with search, category filter and sorting.
- On a phone the Quadrant view shows about four tasks per quadrant and scrolls for the rest; swipe the card body to scroll and use the grip handle to drag a task.
- Timeline panning starts immediately and runs more smoothly on Windows and the web app, and no longer shows a drag cursor before you actually drag.
v1.21.02026-09-18
A clearer Finance view, per-list timeline sections, and a touch-friendly Quadrant
- Finance has a cleaner dashboard: a clear income versus expenses split, grouped bills, and progress bars on debts. The separate Accounts section was removed.
- Timeline sections now belong to each list, so a new list starts empty with no placeholder sections, and the per-day + buttons no longer clutter the phone view.
- The Quadrant view works on touch: drag tasks between quadrants, expand a quadrant to fill the screen, and add a task from a popup.
- The Android back button now closes what is open or returns to the previous view instead of leaving the app.
v1.20.42026-09-18
Faster, more reliable timeline panning
- Removed the oversized graphics layer that was making timeline panning sluggish on Windows; the canvas now moves directly and keeps up with the pointer.
- A press on empty timeline space no longer starts a text selection, which used to stall the pan.
- On a phone or tablet, long-pressing a task now shows a single menu instead of two overlapping ones, so the task can be picked up and moved.
v1.20.32026-09-18
Buttery-smooth timeline panning
- Panning the timeline now runs on the graphics layer, so it starts the instant you move and stays smooth on both Windows and macOS.
- The canvas stops exactly where you release it: no drift, no fling.
- On a phone or tablet, a quick drag pans the timeline even if it starts on a task, and holding a task picks it up to move.
v1.20.22026-09-18
Timeline panning that starts instantly
- Dragging empty timeline space now starts moving the moment you move, with no dead zone before the pan kicks in.
- The canvas keeps up with the cursor smoothly instead of lagging behind it.
- Letting go stops the timeline exactly where you released it, with no fling or drift.
v1.20.12026-09-18
Pan the timeline in any direction
- Dragging empty timeline space now pans both sideways and up or down, so tall timelines are easy to move around.
- The left section labels follow the canvas as you pan, so lanes and labels never drift apart.
- Dragging a task no longer nudges the lanes when the timeline has nothing to scroll vertically.
v1.20.02026-09-18
Drag a task anywhere on the timeline
- Drag a task in any direction on the timeline: sideways moves it to another day, and up or down drops it into a different section lane.
- The dragged task now follows your pointer exactly on both axes, with the lane you are over highlighted before you let go.
- Drop a task on the ungrouped area at the bottom to take it out of its section.
- Panning and scrolling the timeline is noticeably smoother, with no more stalls while you drag the canvas around.
v1.19.12026-09-18
Timeline dragging that keeps up with you
- Dragging a task on the timeline now responds the instant you move, follows your pointer continuously, and snaps to the day you drop it on.
- Dropping a task no longer opens its details panel over the timeline, so you can drag again right away.
- A very short drag no longer moves a task by a whole day by accident.
- Dragging the left edge of a task now extends it from the left and keeps the end date anchored.
v1.19.02026-09-18
A smoother timeline, and a board you can add to
- Dragging and resizing tasks on the timeline is now smooth and predictable: the bar snaps from day to day, screen-edge scrolling keeps up, and a dropped task lands exactly where you put it.
- Opening or closing the AI panel no longer changes the month shown in the toolbar.
- The Board view can now create tasks: add one from any column, from the toolbar, or from the empty board, and file it straight into a section.
- A calmer deep indigo accent, a quieter glow, and drawn icons instead of emoji across the workspace.
- Completing a task plays a short confetti burst, and the sidebar shows today's progress and a completion streak. Turn the celebration off any time in Settings.
- You can switch between the light and dark theme right on the sign-in pages.
v1.18.22026-09-17
Stronger protection against automated scanning
- Added edge monitoring for common scanner targets that no real user flow reaches. Hits are recorded with a one-way hash of the visitor IP, never the raw address, and are deleted after 30 days.
- The edge flags repeat offenders and anyone probing credential-canary decoys, and can block them across the whole site.
- The Privacy Policy now discloses this monitoring, the hashed-IP retention window, and the lawful basis for it.
v1.18.12026-09-17
A cleaner site, and pages that share well
- Every page now has its own title and description, so Prysm Note links look right in search results and when shared, and the site publishes a proper sitemap.
- Fixed horizontal scrolling on phones across the marketing pages, and the in-app mockups now pan instead of squishing on narrow screens.
- The Android and iPhone download buttons now open the real in-browser install flow instead of dead store links, and the footer logo takes you home.
v1.18.02026-09-17
Smarter AI edits, and undo a payment
- You can now undo a payment you did not actually make: ask the AI to remove it, or remove the recorded payment in the Finance workspace, and the debt's balance is restored and the item reopens.
- The AI can refer to bills, debts and loans by name ("update the Revolut loan") instead of a code, and it can clear a field you want emptied, such as a wrong paid-off date.
- Adding movies and shows now works even when the online catalog is unavailable, so a title you type by hand is still saved to your watchlist.
v1.17.02026-09-17
Bank linking paused
- Bank linking has been temporarily removed while we rework the provider and pricing. Your existing synced history stays visible, and manual accounts, bills, debts and the cash-flow projection are unaffected.
- Everything in Finance keeps working exactly as before if you enter your accounts and payments by hand.
v1.16.52026-09-17
Long tasks stay on the timeline
- Fixed tasks that span weeks or months disappearing from the timeline: once you scrolled past a task's start date, its bar vanished and only single-day tasks stayed. Bars now remain visible across their whole span and drop off only after their end date.
- Bars also keep their row while you scroll, so a long task no longer hops up or down as the view moves.
v1.16.42026-09-17
A timeline that goes wherever you scroll
- Fixed the real cause of the timeline stopping at a date: the canvas is now a fixed, decades-long strip, so any date about ten years back to far in the future is reachable and scrolling never hits a hidden end.
- Scrolling is stable: dragging the canvas, the mouse wheel and the period arrows all move in one direction with no jumps or resets, and the wheel now moves the timeline sideways even when the days have no vertical scroll of their own.
- Long sessions stay smooth because only the days around your view are kept on screen.
v1.16.32026-09-16
The timeline really is endless now
- The timeline no longer stops at a fixed date about three months out. It now opens at least six months ahead and keeps growing as you scroll, so any future date is reachable.
- Scrolling the timeline is smoother: a normal mouse wheel now moves it sideways when the canvas has no vertical scroll of its own, and the period arrows page by one screen instead of jumping hundreds of days.
- Long scrolling sessions no longer slow down, because only the days around your view are kept on screen.
v1.16.22026-09-16
Endless forward scrolling on the timeline
- The timeline now keeps scrolling into the future without stopping, including when you drag the canvas to the right edge.
- Accounts with a very large number of tasks open on a smaller, faster initial window instead of a multi-month canvas.
v1.16.12026-09-16
A phone toolbar that fits, and one sections control
- On a phone the timeline toolbar no longer clips the view switcher or the period controls, so Kanban, Calendar, List and Board stay one tap away.
- Timeline sections now collapse and expand with one chevron at the top of the column: open shows the full section labels, closed keeps a slim rail with each section's color dot and count. The phone label column is narrower and long section names stay on one line.
- On touchscreens, small icon buttons and hover-only controls are now properly sized and stay visible, so they are easier to tap.
v1.16.02026-09-16
A calmer start, a clearer 404, and a slimmer timeline
- Timeline sections now collapse to a slim rail with just a color dot, a chevron and a task count, and the toggle is available on a phone too. Your choice is remembered.
- A wrong or expired link now lands on a friendly page that points you back to your workspace, or to sign up if you are logged out.
- Signing up and starting is smoother: a resend button on the verification screen, clear links to the terms and privacy pages, a short welcome email, a one-time tip after the tour, and a friendly preview with example prompts (instead of a locked panel) when you open AI chat without a plan.
- The macOS desktop app no longer shows a black window after your Mac has been idle, locked, or asleep.
v1.15.22026-09-15
Changelog is easier to find
- The changelog now has its own link in the top navigation and in the site footer, so the release notes are one click away instead of buried on the home page.
- Section names in the timeline no longer leave a tooltip stuck on screen after a tap on a phone.
- On a phone, dialogs taller than the screen scroll instead of running off it, so every option stays reachable.
v1.15.12026-09-15
Formatting saves reliably
- Description and subtask formatting now saves: the editor stays open until the save completes, so the formatted text appears straight away instead of only after reopening the task.
- The subtask formatting button is reachable on a phone, where it was hidden before.
v1.15.02026-09-15
Formatting, a simpler mobile bar, and live sync across devices
- Format your task descriptions and subtasks: a formatting toolbar adds bold, italic, strikethrough, headings, lists, checklists, quotes, code and links, and the T button in the task footer jumps straight into the editor.
- The mobile bottom bar is down to four tabs (Today, Chat, Capture, More), so nothing is clipped on a phone; your other workspaces live behind More.
- On a phone the set-reminder calendar now opens as a bottom sheet instead of a card that covered the task, and tapping a button no longer leaves a tooltip stuck on screen.
- Chat has an emoji picker next to Send.
- Sync between devices: when you come back to the app (or leave it open), tasks, sections, reminders, habits, shows, countdowns and finance refresh from the server.
- The Windows desktop app now ships its native title bar again, so the window buttons and automatic update prompts are back.
v1.14.22026-09-15
Window buttons back in the Windows desktop app
- The Windows desktop app draws its own minimize, maximize and close buttons again, so older installs without a native title bar are no longer left with no window buttons at all.
- The button shows the right icon when you maximize or restore, and the desktop title bar keeps working with every theme.
v1.14.12026-09-15
Window controls and overlapping panels
- In the desktop app the minimize, maximize and close buttons stay visible: date pickers and the welcome tour can no longer sit on top of them.
- Date and repeat pickers now follow their button when you resize the window instead of ending up somewhere else on screen.
- Floating panels no longer cover the task panel's footer: reminder cards move aside while a task is open, and the cookie notice stays behind dialogs so it cannot block their buttons.
v1.14.02026-09-15
Per-task reminders, calmer timeline, faster task view
- Reminders are now per task and off by default: turn on Remind me when creating or editing a task, and only those tasks can ever remind you. Nothing you did not mark shows up.
- The reminder cards no longer pile up: at most five show at once, with a +N more line, and the Open button now opens tasks that are far outside the loaded timeline.
- The timeline section column scrolls together with the days, and it can be collapsed to reclaim space on a phone.
- Opening a task is faster (checklists load only when you open them) and the close button works reliably in the desktop app, including on macOS.
- Daily digest emails send once per day again, and email reminders only cover tasks you marked.
v1.13.12026-09-15
Reminder and auto-sort fixes
- Reminders now reach tasks that are very overdue, even when they are far outside the part of your timeline that is loaded. The reminder stack shows the most urgent five with a +N more line instead of filling the screen.
- Auto-sort handles much longer timelines in a single press. If anything is left over, the message tells you how many tasks remain so you can press Auto-sort again.
- On a phone, a long-press that turns into a drag no longer swallows your next tap, and the Move panel can clear a date and no longer reports a move when nothing changed.
- Deleted timeline sections stay deleted even under a fast double load, and the Windows/Linux desktop window buttons now match your active theme.
v1.13.02026-09-14
In-app reminders, timeline auto-sort, easier mobile moving
- Reminders are now in-app by default: at a time you choose, a card appears in the corner listing tomorrow's tasks and anything overdue, with Done, Snooze 1h and Open buttons and an optional ping. Email reminders are off by default and stay an optional extra.
- Timeline auto-sort: press Auto-sort and the AI groups your dated tasks into short named topic sections, so the timeline stops being one big pile.
- On a phone, long-press a task to pick it up and move it, and an action bar appears with Done, Duplicate, Delete and Move.
- Deleting timeline sections now sticks. An empty timeline stays empty instead of the default sections coming back on refresh.
- Clearer install steps for Brave on Android, and working window controls in the Windows desktop app.
v1.12.02026-09-14
A fresh Prysm Note mark
- Prysm Note has a new logo: a faceted violet gem, updated across the app, the website, and the browser and home-screen icons.
- The new mark also shows up in desktop installers and in push notifications.
v1.11.02026-09-14
Sign in with a passkey
- You can now add a passkey and sign in with Touch ID, Face ID, Windows Hello or a security key instead of a password.
- Add and manage your passkeys in Settings, then Account: give each one a name, rename them, or remove ones you no longer use.
- Passkeys work for any account, including accounts you created with Google or GitHub.
- In the desktop app the passkey prompt opens in your default browser, which completes the sign-in for you.
v1.10.52026-09-14
Finance currency rates fixed
- Fixed local-currency conversion in Finance: exchange rates now load from a working source, so amounts and cash-flow projections convert correctly again.
v1.10.42026-09-12
Google and GitHub sign-in in the desktop apps
- Sign in with Google or GitHub now works in the Windows and macOS apps: the provider opens in your default browser and hands the session back to the app already signed in.
- This fixes the embedded-browser block that made those sign-in buttons fail in the desktop app. Update to the latest desktop build to get it.
v1.10.32026-09-12
Install as an app, and a smoother timeline
- Installing Prysm Note as an app now works on Android: Chrome, Edge, Opera and Samsung Internet show a working Install button, and Brave or Firefox get accurate Home Screen steps.
- The timeline is smoother: dragging empty space pans it, grabbing a task moves that task, dropping a task into a section no longer makes it disappear, and hovering highlights the task.
- The month and year in the timeline header now match what is on screen, and the timeline always opens on today using your device's date and timezone.
- The macOS download page now shows the exact Terminal command (with a copy button) that opens the app on first launch.
v1.10.22026-09-12
macOS download opens cleanly
- Fixed the macOS download: the disk image now shows the one-line Terminal command that clears the "damaged and can't be opened" message, and the app is signed so that command works.
- The Downloads page now gives the correct macOS step (removing the download's quarantine flag) instead of the old right-click advice, which macOS ignores for this warning.
- Prep for a notarized macOS build so macOS asks for nothing at all once an Apple Developer certificate is added.
v1.10.12026-09-12
Mobile menu fix on the website
- Fixed the website menu on phones: it now opens as a solid full-screen panel below the header instead of letting the page text and buttons show through it.
- The open menu also locks background scrolling and closes when you press Escape.
v1.10.02026-09-12
Install on your phone works in every browser
- The Install button now works across all popular mobile browsers, not just Chrome: Brave, Firefox, Edge, Opera, Samsung Internet and every iOS browser are detected and shown the exact steps for that browser.
- On Android, Chrome, Edge, Opera and Samsung Internet still get the native one-tap install dialog; Brave and Firefox get tailored menu instructions (Brave installs a home-screen shortcut).
- On iPhone and iPad the app shows a Share > Add to Home Screen guide that matches your browser (Safari, Chrome, Brave, Firefox or Edge), and the Downloads page descriptions update to the browser you are using.
- Tapping Install on your phone now opens the app with the install guide ready, instead of silently doing nothing.
v1.9.02026-09-12
Swimlane sections, a smoother timeline, and timezone settings
- Timeline sections are back as swimlanes: a fixed left column of collapsible group headers with task counts. Right-click a header to rename, reorder or delete it, drag a task onto a header to move it into that group, and empty groups show a drop hint.
- Dragging the timeline is much smoother: panning is frame-batched with pointer capture and a momentum glide, so long boards scroll cleanly while you drag.
- Date & Time settings now use a timezone list with a Detect button, and your zone is saved to your account so dates look right on every device.
- Mobile and small-window layout polish: the timeline toolbar no longer pushes content off screen, auth pages respect the true viewport height, and text scales down on very narrow phones.
- The public site menu now has a clear opaque background and border so the open menu is easy to read in every theme.
v1.8.02026-09-11
Desktop auto-updates, a mobile-friendly site, and one unified brand mark
- The Windows, macOS and Linux desktop apps now update in the background: they check on launch and every few hours, then ask you once to restart when a new version is ready.
- The marketing site is easier to use on a phone: a hamburger menu replaces the crowded top bar, and the Downloads page detects your device and shows the exact install steps for Android and iPhone.
- One brand icon everywhere: the browser tab, app header, home screen and desktop dock all use the same clean Prysm mark.
v1.7.02026-09-11
AI Connect sign-in without tokens
- AI Connect (MCP) now supports OAuth auto sign-in: VS Code, Cursor and Kilo just need the endpoint URL and a browser approval - no token to copy or rotate.
- Personal Access Tokens stay for every other client, and now have creation rate limits so an exposed settings page cannot be used to mint unlimited credentials.
- Bank connections (Finance, Premium) gained an audit trail: link, sync and disconnect events are logged and visible under Settings, so you can see when something touched your bank link.
v1.6.22026-09-11
Timeline sections removed
- Timeline sections (the Sections group in the sidebar and the pill rows on the timeline) have been removed. The timeline is back to a single, clean row of tasks.
- Small cleanup: right-clicking the timeline canvas opens only the app menu, and the in-app guides no longer mention sections.
v1.6.12026-09-11
A new home for timeline sections, plus many fixes
- Timeline sections are now horizontal pill rows: manage them from the new Sections group in the sidebar (right-click to rename, add above/below or delete), and toggle them on the timeline to see each section as a clean row of matching task chips.
- Quadrant (Premium): quick-add lives in the header of every box with a + button, cards show the due date and are easier to grab, and a task dragged to a non-urgent box keeps its old due date from pulling it back across boxes.
- Countdowns: pick a date (with an optional time) instead of a full timestamp, and the AI now handles date-only targets too.
- AI chat: Undo reliably reverses the last AI action (created, edited, moved or deleted tasks and countdowns), finance/quadrant/countdown answers no longer drift in long conversations, and deleted-token and countdown failures are clearly explained.
- The AI panel button appears on every view (timeline, kanban, board, calendar, list, quadrant, habits, countdowns, focus) for a consistent way to open chat.
- Ctrl/Cmd+F now opens the browser's native find when no in-app search is visible, and the timeline no longer opens at a random date.
v1.6.02026-09-10
AI controls your habits, and the Quadrant view is smarter
- Habits: the AI can create, list, log and delete habits for you, new habits appear instantly, and every row has an always-visible delete button.
- Quadrant (Premium): High priority tasks now land in Urgent & Important as they should, the view gets a cleaner design, and you can create a task right inside any quadrant plus drag cards that actually move.
- Timeline: the sections pill rows are now toggleable from the toolbar, and right-clicking blank space opens only the app menu.
- Countdowns: the AI can create, update, complete and delete countdowns, and deletion is a clear button on every card.
- Finance (Premium): the AI can delete the data it created in one step, including a confirm-first wipe, so duplicate cleanup no longer loops.
- Focus Timer (Premium), Countdowns and the AI app integrations (AI Connect, MCP) now expose their data: your external AI apps can read and manage tasks, watchlist, habits, finance, countdowns, the quadrant and the focus timer, and the AI Connect docs page now lists every tool.
v1.5.02026-09-10
Countdowns on your Android home screen
- Countdowns now live on your Android home screen: add the Prysm widget, pick a countdown, and its remaining time stays updated right on the launcher.
- Secure your widget with a personal access token from Settings, create it in the AI Connect tab, and revoke it any time.
v1.4.02026-09-09
Timeline sections and a smarter timeline
- Split the timeline into nameable, color-coded bands: click the + in the Sections menu to divide the row at 50%, then rename each band.
- Give a band a rule (a list, tag, priority range or status) to highlight matching tasks inside it, and drag any task onto a band to apply its rule.
- Bands are a clean display layer: deleting one never touches your tasks.
- The Habits workspace is now available in the sidebar. Track daily, weekly or monthly habits, log each day you complete one, and watch your streaks grow.
- The Quadrant view (Premium) splits your tasks into four boxes: Urgent & Important, Important not Urgent, Urgent not Important, and Neither. Drag a card to another quadrant to re-prioritize it.
- Focus Timer (Premium) is here: run 25/5 or 50/10 focus and break cycles, or a plain stopwatch, with your daily session history. Start Focus directly from any task menu.
- Countdowns are available for everyone: create up to 5 live countdown cards with names, colors and notes, and Premium lets you keep as many as you want. They tick down in real time.
v1.3.12026-09-09
Faster creation and Desktop multi-select delete
- Creating tasks is faster: the form closes as soon as the task is saved, and the list refreshes in the background.
- Multi-select delete is now one click away everywhere: select tasks with Shift or Command+Click on the timeline, kanban, board, or calendar, and a Delete bar appears with the count and Undo.
- The Delete bar reports how many tasks actually moved to Trash, so a no-op is never mistaken for success.
v1.3.02026-09-09
Lists, Trash with restore, and safer scheduling
- Organize tasks into lists: create unlimited lists from the sidebar, assign tasks to one while creating or editing them, and click a list to see only its tasks.
- Deleted tasks now go to a Trash bin instead of vanishing. Open Trash from the sidebar to restore anything within 14 days, or clear it for good.
- Deleting a task no longer asks for confirmation. A quick Undo appears instead, so one accidental tap is instantly reversible (task menus and multi-select both).
- Tasks you create by voice now add to what you already typed in the AI chat box instead of replacing it, so you can dictate an addition to a draft.
- Prysm now warns when a task's start date or time would end after its due date or end time, so schedules stay consistent.
v1.2.42026-09-08
Live AI replies match their saved formatting
- AI replies now use the same clean formatting live as they do after a refresh, so streamed words no longer get glued together while they arrive.
- Tool activity still shows while Prysm AI works, and the final answer appears correctly formatted the moment it finishes streaming.
v1.2.32026-09-06
Polished AI reply formatting
- AI replies no longer glue real words together (like "conflicting tasks" becoming "conflictingtasks") when streaming splits them across lines.
- Blank gaps that streaming leaves inside a reply now collapse into normal spacing, so times, dates and priority lists read as one clean paragraph.
- Fragmented abbreviations like "3 p . m ." and "e . g ." render as "3 p.m." and "e.g.".
v1.2.22026-09-06
Readable AI replies, even when streaming misbehaves
- AI replies that arrive with every word stuck on its own line are now joined back into proper sentences, live while they stream and in chat history.
- If a reply stream stops before delivering anything, Prysm AI retries once automatically instead of immediately showing a failure message.
- Money requests that the AI answers with an "I can't do that" are now re-routed to your Finance tools, so changes to bills, payments and debts actually update Finance.
v1.2.12026-09-06
Cleaner AI replies and chat bubbles
- AI replies now keep dates on one line (like 2026-09-05) and strip stray spaces between words, numbers and punctuation that speech or streaming could leave behind.
- Task lists from the AI are always complete: every entry shows its full details, and scheduling conflicts appear as one compact line per task instead of a long block.
- The assistant message bubble uses a lighter matching style without the hard outline, and reply text wraps more comfortably.
v1.2.02026-09-06
Native desktop apps, Linux downloads, and a mobile-friendly web app
- Prysm Note now has real native desktop apps for Windows, macOS and Linux - install them from the Downloads page and they keep working even without a browser tab open.
- Linux users get AppImage downloads on the same Downloads page.
- The whole app is touch-friendly now: comfortable tap targets, a settings drawer on phones, and touch and hold on a task opens the same menu as a right-click.
- You can install the web app on your desktop browser (Chrome, Edge, Safari) for an app-like window with your tasks always one click away.
v1.1.02026-09-06
Timed tasks, AI reliability, and AI finance routing
- Tasks can now have a start and end time: say "mechanic at 2" and the task gets a time slot shown on the timeline, with earlier times stacked above later ones.
- The AI no longer leaves you on "I couldn't get a response" when it already did the work: if a reply is interrupted, it summarizes the tasks it actually created or updated.
- Income, bills, loans and amounts you tell the AI are now routed into Finance instead of being created as tasks; the AI asks one question first when a statement could be either.
v1.0.182026-09-06
AI replies keep their clean style everywhere
- Words split around a hyphen by speech or streaming (like "hyper -intelligent") are now re-joined with the correct spacing.
- Reply cleanup now also covers older messages in a chat, so no glitchy sentence is left behind from an earlier turn.
v1.0.172026-09-06
Imports keep subtasks and match priorities
- TickTick checklists now import their items as subtasks of the parent task, even when the backup file leaves the task id columns empty.
- Imported priorities match each app's own scale (TickTick 1=low, 3=medium, 5=high) and written labels like High, Medium or Low in any CSV.
- Todoist exports with project/description columns and generic CSV files with a parent column keep their links and notes land as sticky notes.
v1.0.162026-09-06
Cleaner flat look for buttons and accents
- Buttons, headings and navigation now use a clean flat accent color instead of colorful gradients.
- Glow effects on primary buttons and active navigation items are gone for a sharper, more professional look.
- Custom themes: gradient fields are no longer part of the theme editor, and themes exported earlier import without errors.
v1.0.152026-09-06
Cleaner AI replies, voice that just works on Brave
- AI replies no longer arrive with split-up or run-together words like "Fin ance" or "Trackand" - things like task names, dates and settings copy are re-joined from context.
- Voice on Brave works immediately: the first mic press falls back to server transcription instead of showing an "enable microphone" wall, and the choice is remembered for the next time.
- A "Processing…" indicator now shows while your recording is transcribed before the text appears.
v1.0.142026-09-06
Tool-heavy turns are much more resilient
- Fixes the case where a turn with lots of tool activity could end in a vague server error instead of an answer.
- Tasks, edits and schedules the AI makes are now saved the moment it acts, so a snag later in the same turn can never unwind them.
- If a previous AI request is still running, sending again now shows a clear note and the answer appears automatically when it finishes.
v1.0.132026-09-06
Chats stay saved, and turns survive tool hiccups
- Fixes a bug where AI replies (and even the question itself) could vanish instead of saving to history.
- AI turns no longer die or error out when a single tool action hits a snag - the conversation keeps going.
- Stopping a request now reliably cancels the background work server-side too.
v1.0.122026-09-06
The AI now explains how to use Prysm Note
- Ask the AI how anything works and you get real, step-by-step instructions: setting up integrations, tracking money, connecting external AI apps, and more.
- Answers are grounded in the official in-app documentation, so the AI no longer has to guess.
- If you ask about something it has no documentation for, it says so clearly instead of making steps up.
v1.0.112026-09-06
AI keeps working in the background, and actually does what you ask
- AI requests continue working even if you leave the chat open or navigate away - your reply is waiting when you come back.
- Task actions (delete, create, search, schedule) are now reliable even on the free hosted models: if the first model fails to use tools, the paid fallback model finishes the job automatically.
- Chat is always saved from the moment you press send - even an interrupted turn leaves a record in history.
- Formatting is cleaned up on every streamed reply so stray spaces and split-up IDs never appear in chat.
v1.0.102026-09-06
AI deletes now actually work, no more raw tool output
- When the AI wants to use a tool but the model can only write it as text, Prysm AI now parses and runs it instead of pasting raw JSON into the chat.
- Bulk deletions no longer fail with "task not found" when the task IDs arrive garbled (split-up or missing dashes from streaming).
- Raw tool-call output can no longer appear in chat history or live replies.
v1.0.92026-09-05
More reliable bulk deletion, cleaner ToS copy
- Big search results in AI replies no longer get cut off silently: when there are too many matches to show at once, the AI keeps sweeping in batches so "delete all tasks called X" catches every match even in large lists.
- Terms of Service transparency wording now matches the rest of the site.
v1.0.82026-09-05
Reliable chat history, cleaner AI replies, smarter deletion
- AI chat now survives a page refresh: your conversation (including every AI reply) comes back exactly where you left it.
- Live replies are cleaned up as they stream - no more stray spaces in contractions like "I'll", split-up ID strings, or sloppy punctuation.
- The AI identifies tasks to delete by name, date and details instead of raw IDs, and re-checks after a bulk delete so "delete all tasks called X" really catches every match.
v1.0.72026-09-05
Smarter hosted AI routing
- Hosted PrysmAI now routes every request through the OpenRouter gateway to an efficient, effective model selected by region, with zero data retention.
- Rebalanced hosted AI allowances per plan so the included tokens stay generous and predictable.
v1.0.62026-09-04
Account deletion fix, custom themes, multi-select
- Account deletion is now instant, even with a large history (bulk delete instead of a slow cascade).
- Custom themes: import and export your theme as JSON, including extra CSS variables.
- Multi-select across all views: Cmd/Ctrl+click, then drag a whole group on the timeline, kanban or board - and batch-editing in the list view.
- Plaid bank sync (US/CA) alongside GoCardless (EU) for premium finance.
