AI Connect

Connect Prysm Note to your AI apps

Prysm Note speaks the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Add one URL to Claude Code, opencode, VS Code, Cursor, Claude Desktop or Kilo, approve in your browser, and your assistant can read and update your tasks, watchlist, habits, finance, countdowns, quadrant and focus timer.

What is MCP

One standard connection for every AI tool

The Model Context Protocol is the open standard AI apps use to talk to your data. Prysm Note exposes tasks, your Shows & Movies watchlist, habits, finance, countdowns, the Eisenhower quadrant and the focus timer through it, so any MCP-capable client can read and update them securely.

One endpoint

A single Streamable HTTP URL works across every client - no per-app plugins.

Token auth

A personal access token you create, show once, and can revoke at any time.

Your data stays yours

Every query is scoped to your account with row-level security. No cross-user access, ever.

Quick start

Three steps to connect

1

Add the server

Paste the endpoint into your AI app, or copy the exact config from the setup guides below. Nothing else to install for clients that support browser sign-in.

2

Sign in and approve

On first use your app opens a Prysm Note tab. Sign in, check the account and plan shown, choose Allow access, and you land back in the app, connected.

3

Ask away

Ask your assistant to create tasks, check your week, log a habit, or manage your finances - it uses the tools below. Tokens are only needed for apps without browser sign-in.

Endpoint

https://prysmnote.com/api/mcp

Generic token config

For apps without browser sign-in. Replace prysm_live_YOUR_PAT_HERE with a token from Settings, AI Connect.

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "prysm": {
      "type": "http",
      "url": "https://prysmnote.com/api/mcp",
      "headers": {
        "Authorization": "Bearer prysm_live_YOUR_PAT_HERE"
      }
    }
  }
}

Browser sign-in: the fastest way in

Claude Code, opencode, VS Code, Cursor, Claude Desktop (through mcp-remote) and Kilo handle the whole connection for you. Addhttps://prysmnote.com/api/mcpand use the app: a browser tab opens, you sign in and approve once, and the app keeps its own refreshable access. There is no token to copy and no re-authentication after expiry. The approval page shows the account email and plan you are authorizing, and you can revoke the app any time in Settings.

If a terminal-based app says it stopped waiting, the connect command had already exited: run it again and keep the browser window open until the app confirms. Everything else, including apps without browser sign-in, can use a Personal Access Token.

Setup guides

Per-app configuration

Pick your client below. Start with a browser sign-in app: it is one copy-paste and one approval.

Claude Code

Browser sign-in

One command in your terminal. The browser opens for sign-in.

terminal (claude mcp add)

claude mcp add --transport http prysm https://prysmnote.com/api/mcp

opencode

Browser sign-in

Add the server to your opencode config, then run opencode.

~/.config/opencode/opencode.json

{
  "$schema": "https://opencode.ai/config.json",
  "mcp": {
    "prysm": {
      "type": "remote",
      "url": "https://prysmnote.com/api/mcp",
      "enabled": true
    }
  }
}

VS Code (GitHub Copilot)

Browser sign-in

Add it to your workspace, then start the server from the MCP view.

.vscode/mcp.json

{
  "servers": {
    "prysm": {
      "type": "http",
      "url": "https://prysmnote.com/api/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Cursor

Browser sign-in

Add the server in Cursor settings; it opens the browser on first use.

~/.cursor/mcp.json

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "prysm": {
      "url": "https://prysmnote.com/api/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Claude Desktop

Browser sign-in

Claude Desktop connects through the mcp-remote bridge, which also handles sign-in.

claude_desktop_config.json

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "prysm": {
      "command": "npx",
      "args": ["-y", "mcp-remote", "https://prysmnote.com/api/mcp"]
    }
  }
}

Browser sign-in

Add the server to the Kilo MCP config.

kilo.jsonc

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "prysm": {
      "url": "https://prysmnote.com/api/mcp"
    }

Security

Built so your data stays private

Tokens are hashed

Only a SHA-256 hash of your token is stored. The plaintext is shown once at creation and can never be recovered - even by us.

Revoke any time

A revoked token stops working immediately. Create separate tokens per app so you can cut one off without touching the rest.

Row-level isolation

Every tool call is scoped to your user id in the database. A token from one account can never read another account's data.

Destructive actions confirm

Delete tools require explicit confirmation from you before they run - the AI never silently removes your tasks, watchlist items, habits, countdowns or finance data.

FAQ

Questions

Is MCP available on the free plan?

No. AI Connect is part of the Premium tier, matching the hosted AI features.

Which apps are supported?

Any app that speaks MCP over Streamable HTTP: Claude Code, opencode, VS Code, Cursor, Claude Desktop, Kilo, Windsurf, Zed, JetBrains, Continue, Cline, Roo Code, Gemini CLI, Obsidian, OpenClaw, Raycast and more. Claude Code, opencode, VS Code, Cursor, Claude Desktop and Kilo can sign in through the browser; the rest use a Personal Access Token.

How do I rotate or revoke a token?

Open Settings > AI Connect, find the token, and revoke it. Create a new one and update your client.

Can the server read my data?

Only with your token. Without a valid token every request is rejected, and the token only grants access to your own rows.

Is this only for tasks?

No. Your tasks, Shows & Movies watchlist, habits, finance, countdowns, the Eisenhower quadrant and the focus timer are all available over MCP with a premium token. Finance and quadrant/focus tools require an active Premium subscription.

Ready to wire up your AI?

Add the server URL to your AI app, approve it once in the browser, and you are done. A token is only needed for apps without browser sign-in.
